Designer,
Diane Mazza
follows in the footsteps of her family’s long-established
connection to jewelry that began in the nineteenth century
in Italy and that her grandfather brought to the United States
at the beginning of the twentieth century. Her father Hugo
continues the tradition by manufacturing fine fashion jewelry
as Diane makes her own mark on the family business at Mazza/Bartholomew
Ltd.
Diane’s
jewelry designs draw inspiration from her Italian heritage
and studies of the Renaissance. Her mother Eleanor’s
interior design background has inspired and influenced her
use of color. A wide ranging palette of colored gemstones
and lustrous pearls are most often the essential part of her
designs, as demonstrated by her signature flowers for Diane’s
Mark, the eighteen karat division of Mazza/Bartholomew Ltd.
